The TCNJ Office of Post-Graduate Fellowships is hosting a “Life Hacking,” two-part event with special guest, B. Cole. The event will take place on Friday, 11/18 and the entire TCNJ community is welcome to attend.
Life Hacking for Students
There is power in the collective. It is important to understand the tools that will allow you to be successful in higher education—especially as first generation, working class, GNC/gender non-binary, queer, and students of color. Join B. Cole for a strategy session how to make the most of your college experience. From life planning to understanding cultural capital, Cole dives into navigating the education system. Building power and giving each student the chance to develop their own life road map. Learn about leadership and scholarship opportunities, connect with other students and the national Brioxy community.
Cole is a leadership development powerhouse. In 2015 she launched Brioxy, a membership platform for young people of color bringing fellowship hacking, social capital, and life mapping to one central place for the country’s fastest growing demographic. A graduate of the London School of Economics, Cole is a BMA Echoing Green Fellow, Coro Fellow, Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, and Spirit of Dolores Huerta Award recipient, she has worked across the US and internationally on issues of leadership development and social capital. She is also the Founder of the Brown Boi Project, the largest leadership development organization for young LGBTQ people of color in the US. More information about Brioxy can be found here.
